Vad ca au aparut si preturile in US: "2014 228i starts at $33,025 ($925 destination & handling included)". Mai multe detalii aici Observ ca pe la noi nu a ajuns inca. Noul motor este un agregat in 3 cilindri de 1.5l si dezvolta o putere maxima de 136 cp si un cuplu maxim de 220 Nm. Noua versiune BMW 218i Coupe cantareste doar 1415 kg si accelereaza de la 0 la 100 km/h in doar 8.8 s(8.9 in cazul cutiei automate) si are un consum de doar 5.1l/100 km.
